Training of Trainers workshop: Addressing Issues of Gender Equality in Education
UNESCO Beirut Training workshop in Nouakchott for Mauritania and Morocco

A training workshop will be held in Nouakchott 25 September to 1 October 2004 to train Trainers and top level management in the Education fields on main concepts in Gender like the difference between Sex and Gender and Gender Relations and why they are important to enhance and develop Gender concepts and begin establishing better awareness and tactics to deal with gender issues in the region.
The training will bring together administrators and trainers from both Mauritania and Morocco for one week.
Implementing this activity on behalf of UNESCO Beirut will be Dr. Nour Dajani the Programme Specialst for Literacy/ Education for All and Gender Focal Point in the Arab States.
