La UNESCO y Afganistán

    La UNESCO contribuye a la reconstrucción de Afganistán apoyando los esfuerzos de los afganos en su búsqueda de paz, seguridad y desarrollo.


    La acción de la UNESCO en Afganistán responde a la necesidad de ayudar a los afganos a ser dueños de su destino, porque son ellos quienes tienen que liderar el proceso de rehabilitación y de reconstrucción de su propio país.

    Aunque la ayuda exterior es por ahora indispensable, todo lo que, desde el interior del país, pueda obrar a favor de la paz y de la seguridad debe ser desarrollado y apoyado.

    Las acciones de la UNESCO están pues concebidas para que Afganistán tome las riendas de su propio destino.
