Protecting Rivers in Togo L'Association Découverte Togo Profond (ADETOP) has been working to protect the rivers of Kloto in Togo since 2001. Their project involved two phases. The first phase takes place with the students and schools to educate young people through field trips, letting them discover the problems surrounding the river so that they can analyse and interpret them. The second phase takes place with the rural community and consists of getting them involved in cleaning the shores of the river.
